Nikita Maria is a PhD candidate in the Department of Applied Informatics at the University of Macedonia. She graduated from the Applied Informatics Department of the University of Macedonia and received her master’s degree on Informatics and Management at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her PhD research concentrates on the implementation of privacy and data protection principles in applications supported by the RFID technology, focusing specifically to the privacy and security risks that arise through its use.
