The president of INSEIT comments:

"On behalf of INSEIT (the International Society for Ethics and Technology), a sponsor of ICIL 2011, I wish you every success for your fourth annual conference. I have no doubt that this year's conference, like the preceding ISIL events, will be an excellent forum in which to discuss and debate key ethical issues affecting information law. It is truly amazing that in less than four years, the ICIL series has grown into a major international conference.

I regret that I will not be able to attend ICIL 2011 in person. I did have the honor of attending and chairing a session at ISIL 2009, and I plan to be at ISIL 2012 where I hope to see many of you next June. In closing, let me also say that it was nice to see some of you at the recent CEPE 2011 conference in Milwaukee (USA).
